Really loved this read. I'm only a few months shy of 30 and already just coming to the distinct possibility, that path of being in a committed relationship might not be in the cards for me in this lifetime. Not closing myself off to the possibility it but I'm just not waiting or looking for it anymore.

I've started saying recently, after my last "delusionship", that dating is for people who have the time and effort to waste. Because sometimes that's what it is—just a waste.

And I want too much in this too-short life to waste time begging someone who doesn't want me to want me.
